If you have communication problems, you can capture a channel trace. Complete the following steps to capture a trace.
Open the BARR/CHANNEL-IN utility.
Select the Tracing tab.
Select the adapter for which you want to trace communications.
Click Options to specify trace buffer options, and then click OK. See the Options dialog box topic for more information.
Click Start to begin capturing trace data.
Recreate the problem.
Click Stop to finish capturing trace data.
Click Save to save the trace file. By default, the file will be saved in the \\Program Files\Common Files\Barr\Trace folder, unless an alternate path is specified on the Options dialog box.
Use the Diagnostics Utility to send the trace file and any additional information to Barr Technical Support.
