Using Key Client

Key Client

Complete the following steps to use Key Client to add additional modules to the Barr Enterprise Print Server.

  1. Contact a Barr sales representative to receive an upgrade code.

  2. Open the Key Client utility.

  3. In the Upgrade code box, type the upgrade code you received from the Barr sales representative.

  4. From the Available options list, select the options that are included in your license upgrade. Move the options into the Licensed options list by clicking the right arrow (>). You can also move the option by double-clicking it.

  5. To remove options from the Licensed options list, select the desired options and click the left arrow (<), or simply double-click the option.

  6. The Licensed options list must contain exactly the options you are licensed for, no more and no less. If not, you will receive an error message. You can confirm the list of products from the e-mail, the invoice, or the packing list that contains the upgrade code. When the Licensed options list contains all the options for which you are licensed, click Upgrade.

  7. Click Close.
