Working with TCP/IP sockets

BARR/PRINT TCP/IP

BARR/PRINT TCP/IP sockets allow you to receive data from any TCP/IP-based host (for example, mainframes, UNIX An operating system for workstations developed by AT&T Bell Laboratories that features multiprogramming in a multiuser environment. computers, and AS/400s) with direct socket connections. BARR/PRINT TCP/IP socket provides a direct socket connection, which is appropriate for basic TCP/IP communication.

Use these procedures to add, modify, and remove TCP/IP ports.
